New BIKE WOrKsHOP RECYCLES INTERNATIONAL DONATION
Better Health Bikes recently received a bike donated all the way from Portugal. Colin Smith Lead bike mechanic reported:
“I was contacted by a guy who shipped an unwanted bike back from a Portuguese film shoot and was left sad and lonely in a cupboard for two years. When we received the bike the gears didn’t work and the rear hub was very noisy. We stripped and overhauled the sturney-archer gearbox replacing the worn parts to give the bike a new lease of life. This bike is originally from Austria and is a 40 year old Puch Pic-nic. The bike has attracted a lot of attention and is available for a new owner to buy."
